“Carina has done my makeup on multiple occasions for photo shoots and special nights out. So, when it came time to decide on my wedding makeup, it was a no-brainer that I wanted Carina to be the one making sure I looked perfect for my special day. We did a test a few weeks before and decided how I wanted to my makeup to look on the wedding day. Carina was so great about listening to exactly what I wanted. She never got upset or defensive about my adjustments and we collaborated until we had it perfect! It was very important to me to look natural, but still have enough coverage for photography. My now husband was worried the makeup would be too strong and I wouldn’t look like myself (which has happened to me in other weddings), but he was so happy with the results! Carina nailed it :)

I can’t think of a more warm, loving, and talented person I would want helping me get ready for such a momentous occasion in my life. Carina, always with a smile on her face, helped keep me calm the whole morning as we primped and preened. I was able to relax because I knew I was in her amazing and capable hands. I had complete faith and trust in her ability to make me my most gorgeous self for that walk down the aisle (or giant hill in my case).

Carina also did my sister’s (my MOH) and my mother’s makeup on my wedding day. They both looked beautiful. My mother doesn’t wear a lot of makeup normally and when she has had it done in the past it was far too strong, she felt uncomfortable, and she ended up wiping most of it off. Carina made my mom look absolutely stunning. I was so impressed. My mom looked and felt great all day and wasn’t self-conscious about her makeup at all! My wedding photos are the best photos I’ve ever seen of my mom hands down.

I would not hesitate to recommend Carina to anyone in need of makeup services no matter how big or small the event. In fact, I would probably force them to use her.

“Even though Carina is my best friend and matron-of-honor in my upcoming wedding, given some previous nightmare experiences with other makeup artists, I was so hesitant to let anyone else touch my makeup but myself (I am very picky). I finally told myself that I had to let her work her magic beginning with my engagement photos last spring. She was so accommodating with the timing of everything. It was 8AM when she did my makeup – afterwards, I went to the hair salon for a blowout on my hair, sat around for another 3 hours, went for 2 hours of engagement photos in 90 degree weather with humidity, and then drove back to Philadelphia. When I go there at 11:30PM, my makeup was still just as perfect as it was at 8AM. From that day forward, she is my go to when I want to look my absolute best! Carina has done my makeup on multiple other occasions, most memorably my engagement portrait and bridal shower. I cannot even begin to emphasize how amazing her makeup skills are and how beautiful she made me feel on every occasion.
